In the Footsteps of Periavā is an English memoir on a decade of direct personal interactions with HH Maha-Periavā, Kanchi Paramaguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati — published in 2026 by the acclaimed GIRI Publishers, India, and released by HH Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal in Orikkai, India, on 21st August 2026.

Krishnan — a Vedic scholar, Vākgēyakāra, lyricist, musician-composer, journalist, and playwright with scores of disciples around the world — has long been guided by his devotion to Paramāchārya. During the silence of the COVID years, when only bhakti remained alive, the families joining his weekly Sat-Sangam (via Zoom) requested him to write down in greater detail what he had described in a 10-part (Live) series on Paramacharya — his learning at the holy feet of Periavā. This book, committed to paper with great truthfulness, is a companion to the Tamil book Periavā Kāladiyilirundu, released in 2024.
