A portrait of Maharaja Swati Tirunal of Travancore (1813–1846) — royal patron, prolific composer, and one of the most gifted Vakgeyakaras in the history of Carnatic music. Despite his short life, Swati Tirunal composed hundreds of kritis, padams, and varnas in Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam, leaving an indelible mark on South Indian classical music.
